"Now, you can have the benefits of Camtasia without the $300 Price Tag"

I guess I'm a great fan of Camtasia expecially in it's version 3 incarnation.

Camtasia allows you to make a video of your computer screen with you talking as the audio. I've used Camtasia extensively for my video products and it's a fine product. (Although I would 'die' for a Mac version)

In my observations, I reckon that Video is THE Big thing at the moment

Most Internet marketers will tell you, "If you don't have it, go buy it NOW."

What's the problem?

Well, it's a bit pricey at $300. There are lots of people buying it at that price.

But you don't need to pay $300.

You see, an earlier version of Camtasia, called "CamStudio," was released under GPL, which means you can download it for FREE.

Why doesn't everybody download CamStudio instead of paying $300 for Camtasia?

CamStudio would be fine for most users, however there were TWO important flaws.

1. Output Flash videos DID NOT WORK in Firefox or Netscape.
This was not cool. (Now there's a British understatement!). With the number of Firefox downloads around
it was ESSENTIAL that this was fixed

2. There was "redirect to URL" after playing option for your output Flash videos.
This feature will redirect the viewer of the video to the URL of your choice when the movie ends. So you can make a video demonstrating a product or service and redirect your viewer immediately to the URL to buy! (This greatly increases conversion rates). But the old CamStudio didn't have this option.

THESE PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN FIXED

The original CamStudio has been edited under GPL license ;) so that these two problems are FIXED. Output videos can now be viewed in Firefox AND can be redirected to a custom URL upon the end of the clip!

How much am I asking for this new version of CamStudio? $200? $100? No, not even $50.
